Okay, well here's the details of how they got me. I recently started selling things on eBay and making money. The easiest way for me to do so was to go onto craigslist.org in my community and find bargain items. Quickly, I realized, that it was much easier to sell brand new items with tags and such rather than used. So one day I stumbled upon an 32gb iPod Touch brand new in the box for $100. Knowing I could turn a good profit on it, I contacted the poster via email (no phone number was included). The poster than replied with:
"hey,
Thanks for responding but I already sold it. You can probably pick one up at zambid.com where I got mine. In a couple weeks I'll have on up on ebay so you can keep an eye there too."
I got sucked in immediately. Watching $200+ items going for $12 was too tempting. I signed up and started bidding. Quickly I realized that this was taking a lot longer than I anticipated. So in the meantime I researched online about zambid.com. I learned that it was a scam, that many speculated that the winners of the auctions were computer bidders, and that few had won the auction but never received their items.
Upon further research I found the names zoomabid.com and bamboobid.com. That is where the video (below & on youtube) came in. That video features the research that followed when I found out that multiple domain names were being used for the same products.
I am currently trying to get a refund for the unused bids. I contacted them twice via the "contact" link on zambid.com. They did reply with this several days later:
"Not a problem, we can refund any unused bids. Please provide me with the
following information we were unable to locate in your refund request
email:
-Billing Zip Code
-Exact name on Card
-Date of Purchase(s)
This information is required to access and refund any orders we have
received. It also validates the user as the cardholder. We apologize for
any inconvenience.
Thank you,
-Support"
Nothing showing on my credit card statement yet. Please share your stories. I read on other sites that they often use craigslist.org to lure people in. Is this how they got you? Did they lure in to a site other than zambid? Have you won an item? Have you gotten a refund? Please share.

Zambid, Bidaboom, Bamboobid, Zen-Bid, etc.
If there is any question, any doubt in your mind if this is a legit website, please reconsider. They are all scams and I will soon post a video to prove it.
